Meet our Franchisee: Joe Roth

Joe Roth, who has lived in central Iowa his entire life, recently recognized the need to provide local families in Des Moines with the convenience of having their homes cleaned. With a growing demographic of families who are always on the go, he is launching The Cleaning Authority to serve central Iowa.

Joe’s background is in management and health insurance, and after 15 years in the insurance industry, Joe has decided to get involved with small business ownership. He worked with a broker to help select a franchise that would fit his strengths. “I have always been interested in a small business and the broker showed me how the franchise model provides support but also allows for flexibility in my business,” he said.

Joe found that The Cleaning Authority’s philosophy aligned with his strengths and interests because of his background working one-on-one with customers and doing hiring, coaching, training, and sales.

With many dual income families who are busy with careers and children in Des Moines, Joe is excited to open his business to help those in his local community have more time to do the things they love instead of cleaning.
