Meet our Franchisees: Brian & Marsha Holder

January 25, 2018

After a long career with Kraft Foods that ended in May 2017, Brian Holder began to search for franchise opportunities with his wife, Marsha. They were soon introduced to The Cleaning Authority and decided to open a franchise in Rogers, Arkansas.

The couple first met in college at the School of the Ozarks and has been married for 33 years. With Brian’s experience in customer service, quality control, and supply chain management, as well as Marsha’s work as an education contractor for Arkansas, both bring great knowledge and experiences that will help them in opening their new business.

While working with a franchising coach, Brian and Marsha were drawn to The Cleaning Authority. “The operational hours are what really stood out the most. Not having to work nights and weekends was very important to me,” Brian said. “Also, The Cleaning Authority is a highly reputable company. They are a top franchise in residential cleaning and the territory we lived in was untapped.” Additionally, the couple is looking forward to the chance to bring more jobs into the market with their franchise.

In addition to its attractive business model, Brian and Marsha knew that The Cleaning Authority was a great fit for their diverse territory in Arkansas. “The north most community consists of many older citizens who need help cleaning their homes. Moving south, you get into the bedroom community of the Walmart corporate office. Many of the corporate representatives are looking to outsource their home cleaning due to the affluent nature of the area,” Brian said.

Brain and Marsha are very excited to start their new journey with The Cleaning Authority, and are looking forward to having more free time. “We are looking forward to spending more time with our granddaughter,” Brian said. “We also look forward to enjoying the outdoors on the golf course.”

"In my previous life when I was consulting I didn't have near the flexibility of my schedule that I have now. Now after growing the cleaning authority at the point where it is, I coach soccer. We do two practices a week for my girls team. I do one practice a week for my boys team. I can go to any school event that I want to. I can take time to go with teachers. I exercise most every day. I work hard but I can come and go on my own schedule. I no longer have to worry about paying for my children's education and we live a comfortable life and it's fun."

"As a female franchise owner, I've learned that success knows no gender. It's about determination, resilience, and the willingness to learn and adapt."
