Meet our Franchisee: Reuben Burwell

April 15, 2019

Reuben Burwell is excited to take on business ownership by purchasing The Cleaning Authority of Lenexa.

Reuben, who has an AA in Business Management, has a background in customer cabinets. “I started in construction, after which my career path led me to project manager and VP of operations for a custom cabinet shop,” he said. “Together with family, we started Vision Woodworks from scratch with zero customers, and built it into the successful, award-winning company that it is today.”

More recently, Reuben has been developing and managing the computer-based design/engineering for KC Custom Cabinet, training assistant designers, and developing standards and solutions for the design team.

Reuben decided it was time to start looking into something new. He was ready for a new challenge. “I’m driven and like the independence,” he said. “I look forward to the entrepreneurial/management aspect, and to establishing a good relationship with both the employees and customers.”

He liked what he saw with The Cleaning Authority and felt it was the right move for him to obtain his goals. “I believe good business is built on good service. I like the idea of selling an honest service, and making people happy,” Reuben said. “The Cleaning Authority website communicates this idea well. The more I clicked through the website, the more convinced I became that this was a great business.”

Reuben is excited to provide a high quality and consistent service to customers in the Lenexa area.

"In my previous life when I was consulting I didn't have near the flexibility of my schedule that I have now. Now after growing the cleaning authority at the point where it is, I coach soccer. We do two practices a week for my girls team. I do one practice a week for my boys team. I can go to any school event that I want to. I can take time to go with teachers. I exercise most every day. I work hard but I can come and go on my own schedule. I no longer have to worry about paying for my children's education and we live a comfortable life and it's fun."

"As a female franchise owner, I've learned that success knows no gender. It's about determination, resilience, and the willingness to learn and adapt."
